Activities Coordinator – Care Home

About the role

As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you will create a stimulating environment that supports residents’ wellbeing, independence and social engagement. You will design imaginative, fun and motivational activities tailored to each resident’s interests and abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver activity programmes that cater to a range of interests, abilities and community involvement.
• Build relationships with residents and their families to tailor activities that maximise wellbeing and social interaction.
• Coordinate activities both within the home and in the local community.

Required profile

• Warm, empathetic and personable with strong organisational skills.
• Enthusiastic, creative and able to inspire residents and staff to participate.
• Ability to organise and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
