Activities Co‑ordinator

About the role

As an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, you will design and deliver engaging activities that enrich the lives of residents across dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. Kindness and empathy are at the heart of every interaction, ensuring residents feel valued and supported.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and implement a diverse range of resident‑focused activities.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager to arrange fundraising events.
• Encourage social interaction and confidence among residents.
• Involve the wider care team in activity delivery.
• Maintain accurate activity records and contribute to digital care planning.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care setting.
• Strong planning, organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated kindness, compassion and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities and willingness to complete required training.

Required skills

• Basic IT proficiency for activity scheduling and record‑keeping.
