Activities Coordinator

About the role

The Activities Coordinator will lead and inspire residents at Redcot care home to take part in a varied programme of leisure and social activities. Working closely with each resident, you will help maintain independence, choice and dignity, enabling a full and active life.

Key responsibilities

• Create and deliver a stimulating schedule of indoor and outdoor activities and events.
• Assess individual preferences, abilities and needs to develop personalised social care plans.
• Regularly review and adapt activity plans based on resident feedback.
• Build relationships with local community groups to arrange outings and external events.
• Recruit, coordinate and support volunteers to expand activity options.
• Drive residents safely to outings and events as required.

Required profile

• Friendly, creative and passionate about improving older people’s lives.
• Person‑centred approach with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to motivate and encourage participation in meaningful activities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive residents.
