Activities Driver – Resident Transport

About the role

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic individual to join our award‑winning team at Frognal House Care Home in Kent. As an Activities Driver you will provide safe, timely and courteous transportation for residents to and from a variety of activities, helping them stay engaged and enjoy a high quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Transport residents to scheduled activities and appointments, ensuring punctuality and comfort.
• Assist residents with special needs during journeys – carrying packages, opening doors, and helping them in and out of the vehicle.
• Maintain focus on driving while coordinating passenger interactions with support staff.
• Perform miscellaneous pick‑up and delivery tasks as required.

Required profile

• Hold a PCV licence with Category D1 and a clean driving record.
• Willing to attend periodic Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) training.
• Understand and follow all safety procedures and precautions.
• Remain calm and considerate in emergency situations.
