Actuarial Director – Defined Benefit Pensions

About the role

We are seeking an Actuarial Director to lead our defined benefit (DB) pensions practice. This senior leadership position will shape client strategy, drive business growth, and mentor a high‑performing actuarial team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic relationships with trustee and corporate pension clients.
• Oversee the delivery of actuarial advice and client projects.
• Drive business development and generate new client opportunities.
• Manage and develop actuarial teams.
• Contribute to the growth and direction of the wider pensions practice.

Required profile

• FIA‑qualified actuary with extensive UK DB pensions experience.
• Holder of a Scheme Actuary Practising Certificate.
• Proven track record managing client relationships.
• Commercially minded with business development experience.
• Experienced people leader passionate about developing others.
