About the role

The 10‑week paid Actuarial Summer Internship gives you a real actuarial role from day one, working alongside a team of actuaries on life insurance projects. You will be based in Zurich’s sustainable Swindon office and will experience reserving, pricing, reinsurance or other core actuarial areas.

Key responsibilities

Assist the actuarial team with reserving, pricing and reinsurance analyses.
Contribute to a cross‑disciplinary project and support the development of actuarial models.

Required profile

Penultimate‑year student in a maths‑based degree (e.g., mathematics, statistics, engineering) aiming for a 2:1 or higher.
Strong IT skills, comfortable with Excel, and a logical, maths‑focused mindset.

Required skills

Excel (knowledge preferred).

What we offer

Pro‑rated salary of £24,968.58 for the 10‑week period.
Pro‑rated holiday, private medical cover contribution, 12 % pension and flexible benefits.
Potential hybrid working after an initial onsite period.
