Adjusting Executive – Major Loss Claims Handler

About the role

The Adjusting Executive will join a high‑performing Domestic Major Loss team in Glasgow, providing technical support to loss adjusters throughout the claims lifecycle. This hybrid position combines customer‑focused service with proactive claim management to ensure timely and accurate resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Assist loss adjusters with technical aspects of major loss claims.
• Proactively manage claims from inception to conclusion, meeting client‑specific service level agreements.
• Deliver first‑class customer service to policyholders, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate claim records and documentation in line with company standards.
• Collaborate with the wider claims team to resolve complex issues efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience in claims handling, preferably within major loss or insurance environments.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to support loss adjusters.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑centric approach.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
