Administrator – Office & Financial Support

About the role

The Administrator will provide comprehensive administrative and financial support for programmes, fundraising and income‑generation activities. Working on‑site in Southport, you will ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, accurate financial reporting and effective use of procurement systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day administration, financial administration and reporting.
• Use I Want Finance and Agresso for procurement, financial management and reporting.
• Support monitoring and reporting of The Atkinsons financial performance.
• Carry out financial monitoring, cash handling and banking in line with Authority procedures.
• Maintain records of income and expenditure and manage venue‑hire administration.
• Process donations, grants and income‑generation transactions for The Atkinson Development Trust.
• Provide continuous administrative cover during sickness and annual leave.
• Handle petty cash as an imprest holder, ensuring receipts are processed and reimbursed.
• Back‑up computerised systems and input data for utility usage and billing.

Required profile

• Good standard of general education.
• Computer qualification such as ECDL or CLAIT.
• Experience in office administration and support using standard IT systems.
• Experience in financial management and cash handling.
• Ability to balance conflicting demands and meet deadlines with limited resources.
