Administrator – Recycling Centre (Temp to Perm)

About the role

This temporary-to-permanent position supports the day‑to‑day operations of a busy recycling centre near Andover. Working Monday to Friday in an office environment, you will be the first point of contact for customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls and respond to customer queries.
• Process customer orders and book jobs into the system.
• Maintain both physical and digital filing systems, including document and data management.
• Generate reports, process invoices and handle Environment Agency returns.
• Monitor employee training schedules and provide weighbridge administration support.
• Cover holiday periods and occasional Saturday mornings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an administrative role.
• Experience in an industrial or recycling environment is advantageous.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Own transport due to the location.

Required skills

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.

What we offer

• £15 per hour, rising after a six‑month probation period.
• Occasional Saturday work paid at £20 per hour.
• Opportunity to transition to a permanent contract.
