About the role
The Admissions Officer will be the first point of contact for prospective students at LCCA, evaluating applications, conducting interviews and guiding candidates through the admissions process. This full‑time onsite role supports the college’s commitment to high‑quality student intake and enhances its reputation.
Key responsibilities
- Engage with prospective students to discuss academic background, interests and career goals.
- Conduct structured interviews and assess applications, portfolios and motivation against predefined criteria.
- Provide clear information on courses, faculty, campus culture and admission procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of interviews, assessments and decisions.
- Collaborate with academic departments to finalise admission outcomes.
- Assist in organising open days, recruitment fairs and other admissions events.
- Ensure compliance with LCCA’s admission policies and UK higher‑education regulations.
Required profile
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and a mentor‑like approach.
- Keen eye for talent and ability to evaluate academic and artistic potential.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required; proficiency with standard office software is expected.
