Adult Social Worker – Multiple Teams – Greater Manchester & Cheshire

About the role

We are recruiting experienced Adult Social Workers for a range of contractor positions across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire. The roles span multiple specialist teams – Mental Health, Review, Continuing Healthcare, Hospital and post‑Hospital Discharge, Community and Neighbourhood, Learning Disability and Transitions – and offer flexible hybrid working.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver adult social work assessments and case management within the assigned specialist team.
• Work collaboratively with local authority partners, health services and multi‑agency teams.
• Provide support and advocacy for service users throughout the care pathway, including hospital discharge and community reintegration.
• Contribute to team reviews, care planning and safeguarding processes as required.

Required profile

• Qualified adult social worker with relevant experience in one or more specialist areas.
• Willingness to work across the Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire local authorities.
• Preference for hybrid working arrangements.
