Adult Support Worker – Day Shift

About the role

Join iMap’s 4‑bed adult residential home in Crewe and provide day‑to‑day support to adults with autism. You will help residents with personal care, social activities and skill development, fostering independence and a positive living environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing and medication reminders.
• Facilitate social and recreational activities tailored to individual interests.
• Implement and monitor personalised support plans, recording progress and any changes in behaviour.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and external professionals to ensure a safe, inclusive setting.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay up‑to‑date with best practices.

Required profile

• A caring, patient and reliable attitude with a genuine interest in supporting adults with autism.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to complete records accurately.
• Willingness to learn, attend training and develop professionally.
• Relevant social‑care qualifications or a willingness to obtain them.
