Adult Support Worker – Days (Wood Cottage)

About the role

Join a dedicated team at Wood Cottage, a 3‑bed adult residential home in Crewe, providing day‑time support to adults with autism. You will help residents develop independence, enjoy social activities, and receive personalised care in a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day personal care and support to adults with autism.
• Implement and follow individualised support plans.
• Monitor progress, record observations and report any changes in behaviour or needs.
• Facilitate social and skill‑development activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and external professionals.
• Attend mandatory training and keep up‑to‑date with best practices.

Required profile

• A caring, patient and reliable attitude with genuine interest in supporting adults with autism.
• Basic literacy and numeracy to complete records accurately.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn, attend training and develop professionally.
