Advanced Nurse Practitioner

About the role

Connaught Resourcing is recruiting an Advanced Nurse Practitioner for locum work in Liverpool. The role covers telephone triage, out‑of‑hours (OOH) GP services and support for GP surgeries, with flexible full‑time hours including evenings, overnights and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephone consultations to assess, diagnose, treat and discharge patients.
• Provide urgent care advice for minor illnesses and injuries.
• Support GP OOH services and assist in GP surgery workflows.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and follow NHS protocols.

Required profile

• Current Advanced Nurse Practitioner working in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Out‑of‑Hours settings.
• Proven experience assessing and treating minor illness and injury.
• Relevant qualification such as an MSc in Advanced Practice or equivalent.
