Advanced Practitioner – Adult MASH (Hybrid, £35/hr)

About the role
Oldham Council is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join its Adult Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This hybrid position offers a fast‑paced environment where you will lead front‑door safeguarding decisions and support high‑quality outcomes for vulnerable adults.
Key responsibilities
- Manage complex safeguarding referrals within a busy Adult MASH/front‑door service.
- Chair safeguarding meetings and multi‑disciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
- Support decision‑making and risk management across the service.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team staff.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to deliver effective safeguarding outcomes.
Required profile
- Significant experience in an Adult MASH or Adult Duty Team.
- Proven ability to chair safeguarding and complex MDT meetings.
- Strong background in multi‑agency safeguarding.
- Previous experience managing staff in a busy front‑door service.
- Relevant qualifications as outlined in the job description and person specification.
