Advanced Practitioner – Adult Mental Health (Temporary)

About the role
Our client, Brent Council, is recruiting two Advanced Practitioners to join its Adult Mental Health team on a three‑month temporary basis. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to work with complex cases while supporting junior staff.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate complex adult mental health cases within the team.
- Provide expert clinical input and decision‑making for high‑need service users.
- Support, supervise and mentor less experienced staff members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners to ensure integrated care.
Required profile
- Qualified Social Worker, fully registered with Social Work England.
- Significant post‑qualified experience in adult social care.
- Strong knowledge of adult mental health practice.
- Demonstrable experience supervising or supporting junior staff in a social‑care setting.
Required skills
What we offer
- £36 per hour rate.
- Initial three‑month fixed‑term contract.
- £250 joining bonus for new starters.
- £300 referral bonus for successful placements.
