About the role
Coventry City Council’s Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join its team on a three‑month contract. The role is hybrid, with office‑based induction followed by two days of remote work each week.
Key responsibilities
- Manage contact records, information requests and probation checks for vulnerable children and young people.
- Attend and contribute to strategy discussions within the MASH team.
- Facilitate early, high‑quality information sharing and analysis to support safeguarding decisions.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safeguarding protocols.
Required profile
- Qualified Social Worker, fully registered with Social Work England.
- Minimum three years post‑qualification experience in a local authority setting.
- Strong background in children’s social care.
- Experience in a MASH environment is desirable but not essential.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £33.30.
- £250 joining bonus for new starters.
- £300 referral bonus for successful placements.
