About the role
The Advanced Practitioner – Quality Assurance – SEND will embed high standards of practice, assurance and continuous improvement across Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes. This role focuses on quality assurance and improvement for EHC assessments and plans, working in partnership to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with SEND legislation, statutory responsibilities and inspection frameworks (CQC, Ofsted).
- Lead quality assurance and quality improvement activities for EHCP assessments and plans.
- Promote effective partnership working with local authorities and other stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and professional guidance to maintain high‑quality, person‑centred contributions to EHCPs.
- Embed continuous improvement processes across SEND services.
Required profile
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in SEND, including EHCP processes.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and inspection standards (CQC, Ofsted).
- Ability to lead and guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to person‑centred, strengths‑based practice.
