Advisory Manager – Financial Services Restructuring

About the role

This position sits at the heart of a top‑10 financial services advisory team, delivering a blend of formal insolvency and restructuring advice to high‑profile clients. You will manage a mixed portfolio of complex cases while mentoring junior staff across both advisory and statutory engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead formal insolvency administrations and special projects, overseeing case progression and client communication.
• Conduct financial analysis, cash‑flow reviews and contingency planning for restructuring engagements.
• Support independent business reviews (IBRs) and lender‑side assessments.
• Develop options analyses, restructuring plans, and investigations as required.
• Manage and develop junior team members on statutory and regulatory processes.

Required profile

• Experience in insolvency work with a desire to expand into advisory.
• Current Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready for a step‑up.
• Comfort with high‑impact, complex financial services cases.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
