Aerospace Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

Quest Global is seeking an Aerospace Supply Chain Specialist to manage procurement and sourcing of aerospace materials, components, and equipment. You will work closely with suppliers, production planning, and engineering teams to ensure timely delivery, compliance with aerospace standards, and optimal inventory levels.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement and sourcing activities for aerospace materials, components, and equipment.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and compliance with AS9100, FAA, ITAR, and export‑control regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast material requirements, and support production schedules.
• Analyze supply‑chain risks, shortages, and logistics disruptions.
• Maintain supplier performance metrics (cost, quality, delivery KPIs).
• Support contract negotiations and vendor‑management activities.
• Prepare reports on supply‑chain performance, inventory accuracy, and procurement costs.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to reduce lead times and optimize operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or defense supply‑chain operations.
• Knowledge of aerospace procurement processes and supplier management.
• Understanding of aerospace regulatory requirements (AS9100, FAA, ITAR, export controls).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Epicor.
• Regulatory knowledge of AS9100, FAA, ITAR, and export controls.
• Certification (preferred) – APICS CPIM, CSCP, or CPSM.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
