About the role

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified teacher to deliver after‑school tuition in Maths and English for GCSE students. This part‑time, temporary position offers flexible hours that fit around your existing schedule while helping young learners achieve their academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned tuition in Maths and English up to GCSE level.
• Plan and deliver personalised lessons that address individual learning needs.
• Support students with a range of abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
• Monitor progress, set achievable targets, and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching Maths and/or English at secondary GCSE level.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt lessons to different learners.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.
