Aftersales Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Aftersales Manager to lead the daily operations of our depot in Biggleswade. You will ensure health and safety compliance, drive revenue growth, and provide advanced technical support to field service engineers and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead depot operations and enforce strict Health & Safety standards.
• Monitor utilisation and work‑in‑progress targets.
• Collaborate with the administration team and Aftersales Supervisor to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Provide advanced technical support to field service engineers and customers.
• Oversee aftersales administration for accuracy and timeliness.
• Drive revenue growth and review profit and loss statements regularly.
• Manage the team, conduct meetings and ensure engineers receive necessary training.
• Act as the primary escalation point for customer complaints and issues.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Engineering or equivalent in a relevant sector.
• Proven leadership abilities.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self‑initiative and problem‑solving capability.
• Willingness to travel across the UK, Ireland and overseas as needed.

• Competitive salary up to £62,000 per year.
• Full‑time permanent contract (40 hours per week).
