Agent – Roads and Networks (Hinkley Point C)

About the role

As an Agent at the Hinkley Point C project you will be a vital part of the Roads and Networks team, ensuring technical compliance, quality delivery and overall project success. You will work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders to build and maintain essential infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate a team of Sub‑Agents and Engineers to deliver works in line with design specifications and project timescales.
• Support the implementation of Health & Safety policies and quality‑assurance processes across the site.
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes to effectively plan and monitor site activities.
• Manage project costs through effective resource planning and material procurement.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, suppliers and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.

Required profile

• Hold a degree in civil engineering or a related construction field and be working towards chartered status with ICE or CIOB.
• Possess knowledge of engineering management systems and quality processes used in civil engineering projects.
• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and professional communication skills.
• Be able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and engage with external partners.
