Agile Project Manager – EPIC Delivery Owner (12‑month contract)

About the role

This contract position offers an experienced Agile Project Manager to lead EPIC delivery within a major capital markets transformation programme for a leading financial services organisation. Working in a hybrid London setting, you will coordinate multiple Scrum teams, manage governance and ensure high‑quality delivery in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of one or more Agile technology projects, maintaining plans, budgets and resource forecasts.
• Coordinate multiple Scrum teams and collaborate with Product Owners, Architects and Technical Leads to achieve agreed milestones.
• Manage project governance, RAID logs, dependencies and executive reporting.
• Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and steering committees.
• Oversee project financials, forecasting and resource planning.
• Identify, mitigate and remove delivery risks and impediments.
• Ensure adherence to Agile best practices, governance standards and organisational controls.
• Support transition of delivered solutions into Business as Usual (BAU).

Required profile

• Extensive experience in IT project management or Agile delivery management.
• Proven track record delivering medium to large‑scale technology transformation programmes, preferably in banking, capital markets or securities services.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with executive and director‑level audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, forecasts and resource plans.
