AI Development Lead

About the role

Zurich is accelerating its AI transformation and needs a hands‑on AI Development Lead to drive AI adoption across its Life, Health and Bank Distribution businesses. You will work in a flexible, hybrid environment, collaborating with the new AI Lab and mentoring colleagues to turn AI concepts into production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support teams across Zurich Life, Health and Bank Distribution to become self‑sufficient with AI and develop value‑driving use cases.
• Prototype, test and scale machine‑learning and generative‑AI solutions, moving them from proof‑of‑concept to production using cloud tools.
• Mentor and coach colleagues on AI best practices and the "art‑of‑the‑possible".
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and consultants to design next‑generation data & AI solutions.
• Contribute to Zurich’s broader digital transformation by redefining processes, platforms and enterprise solutions.

Required profile

• Innovative, visionary AI expert with a strong track record of applying AI/ML to solve business problems.
• Passionate about mentoring and enabling non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with ambiguous problems and translating them into concrete AI solutions.
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex AI concepts in simple terms.
