AI Enablement Lead – Global FTSE100

About the role

We are looking for an AI Enablement Lead to drive the design, delivery and governance of data, AI and automation solutions for a Global FTSE‑100 organisation. Reporting to senior management, you will shape the strategic roadmap, champion centralised standards and ensure secure, scalable implementation across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a remote offshore team of 12 developers and a growing UK team, providing technical and people leadership.
• Design, build and support AI, analytics and automation solutions, including models, dashboards and platforms.
• Own the roadmap for trusted data foundations – master/reference data, data quality, governance, cataloguing, traceability and access controls.
• Implement security and authorisation best practices for AI and automation services.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into scalable solutions and advise on new analytics tools.
• Develop and mentor D&A and divisional team members, fostering growth and capability.
• Establish and maintain data management policies, code promotion processes, platform administration and compliance monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data, AI or automation teams in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of data architecture, integration and visualisation concepts.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders.
• Track record of delivering secure, compliant and scalable AI solutions.
