AI Engineer – Data & Reporting (Hybrid, London)

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global technology consultancy that is heavily investing in AI, machine learning and advanced analytics. The AI Engineer will design, develop and deploy enterprise‑scale AI solutions that transform reporting, forecasting and business intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI and machine‑learning models, including generative AI, LLMs and Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) applications.
• Build agentic AI frameworks and integrate them with enterprise reporting platforms.
• Develop APIs and micro‑services to expose AI capabilities.
• Deploy, monitor and maintain production‑ready models in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers and senior business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Drive AI governance, model monitoring and MLOps best practices.

Required profile

• Commercial experience delivering AI or machine‑learning solutions.
• Strong Python development background.
• Proficiency with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Scikit‑learn.
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI tools (LLMs, LangChain, LlamaIndex) and vector databases.
• Experience in MLOps, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation.
• Solid SQL skills and experience handling large datasets.
• Cloud experience on Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
