AI Governance Manager

About the role

A newly created AI Governance Manager role sits at the heart of the organisation’s AI transformation. Working closely with senior leadership, you will shape how AI tools are governed, adopted and scaled across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current AI usage across teams and develop a roadmap for adoption.
• Lead selection, implementation and governance of enterprise AI tools.
• Develop policies and best‑practice guidelines for responsible AI use.
• Manage relationships with AI vendors, including Microsoft, and oversee support, training and change‑management initiatives.
• Track AI usage, spend and business impact, delivering regular reporting and recommendations to senior executives.

Required profile

• Background in IT governance, technology operations or programme management.
• Proven experience developing technology policies or governance frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience managing vendors and driving technology adoption.

Required skills

• Familiarity with enterprise AI tools such as Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT.
