AI Security Architect – 6‑month Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI Security Architect to join a leading health research organisation on a 6‑month Inside IR35 contract. The role is predominantly remote with occasional visits to the London office, offering the chance to shape secure AI deployments across complex business environments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct security assessments and threat‑modelling for AI, Generative AI, LLM and agent‑based solutions.
• Develop governance frameworks, security standards and best‑practice guidelines for AI adoption.
• Design and implement controls for identity and access management, auditability and human oversight.
• Define secure integration patterns between AI platforms and enterprise systems.
• Identify and mitigate AI‑specific threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, data leakage, poisoning and model extraction/inversion.
• Collaborate with security, technology and business teams to balance innovation with robust security.
• Provide guidance, knowledge transfer and clear documentation on AI security principles.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience securing AI, Generative AI, LLM or agent‑based environments in large organisations.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, their business applications and associated risk vectors.
• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
