AI Software Engineer – Firebase & GCP (Remote)

About the role

An exceptional opportunity for an AI Software Engineer to join an early‑stage start‑up building a workflow and intelligence platform powered by agentic AI, multimodal analysis and domain‑specific insight. This hands‑on lead engineering role offers a clear path to CTO as the company scales.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end architecture on Firebase, integrating Claude API and leading LLMs.
• Ensure security, performance and seamless integration of AI services.
• Collaborate with the Head of Product to turn specs and prototypes (Replit) into production‑grade code.
• As the team grows, establish the engineering function – hiring, structuring and mentoring engineers.
• Progress into the CTO role as the product and team expand.

Required profile

• Deep expertise with Firebase services (Firestore, Cloud Run, Auth, Security Rules) in production environments.
• Proven experience building and deploying complex AI applications using large language models and agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with vector‑database technologies (e.g., pgvector, ChromaDB, Pinecone) is a plus.
