AI Technical Architect – SAP & Core Business Processes (Remote)

About the role

Arxada is seeking an AI Technical Architect to lead the design, build and industrialisation of AI capabilities across its SAP landscape. You will embed intelligence directly into finance, supply chain, procurement and manufacturing processes, ensuring solutions are scalable, compliant and aligned with a clean‑core S/4HANA strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI use cases across the SAP estate using SAP BTP, AI Core, Joule and Datasphere.
• Own end‑to‑end architecture for process‑embedded AI in finance, treasury, supply chain, procurement, sales and warehouse operations.
• Develop side‑by‑side extensions on SAP BTP to preserve clean‑core principles.
• Integrate master data (PLM/MDM) as a trusted foundation for AI‑driven decision making.
• Connect plant and MES signals to ERP processes for full operational visibility.
• Embed compliant and auditable AI solutions within regulated environments (GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11, EU Annex 11).
• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers and functional experts.
• Manage the AI lifecycle, MLOps practices and technical debt to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture or engineering with a strong hands‑on delivery record.
• Deep expertise in SAP BTP, AI Core, Datasphere and Business AI/Joule.
• Solid understanding of core business processes across finance, supply chain, procurement and sales.
• Proven experience with SAP integration and extensibility (Integration Suite/CPI, side‑by‑side architecture).
• Strong coding and MLOps capabilities.
