AI Transformation Director

About the role

Altum Consulting is seeking an AI Transformation Director to lead enterprise AI programmes for its clients. This senior leadership position will work closely with senior stakeholders to define strategy, accelerate AI adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes. The role is hybrid (remote/London) and initially runs for six months with a view to extension.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI transformation strategies aligned with client objectives and advise senior leaders on investment and implementation.
• Lead end‑to‑end transformation programmes, from discovery through delivery, ensuring governance, security and compliance.
• Define operating models that enable sustainable AI adoption and identify high‑value automation opportunities.
• Establish governance frameworks, risk management policies and responsible AI practices.
• Design and execute change‑management plans to drive user adoption and cultural shift.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in leading large‑scale transformation initiatives, preferably in technology or consulting environments.
• Strong track record of working with C‑suite stakeholders and influencing strategic decisions.
• Deep understanding of AI concepts, emerging technologies and their business applications.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and programme governance skills.
