Air Conditioning and Gas Engineer

About the role

Walsh Solutions is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning & Gas Engineer to join its expanding team. The role involves installing, servicing, and maintaining air‑conditioning systems and gas boiler installations across primarily domestic settings, with a hybrid working pattern covering Hertfordshire, the Home Counties and North London.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair air‑conditioning units in residential, commercial and industrial environments.
• Carry out regular inspections, diagnose faults and perform necessary repairs on HVAC systems.
• Install domestic gas boilers and heating systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with construction teams to integrate air‑conditioning systems during building projects.
• Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance logs for all work performed.

Required profile

• Fully qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.
• Fully qualified F‑Gas registered engineer.
• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in air‑conditioning and heating installation and repair.
• Full UK driving licence and up‑to‑date DBS check.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
