Air Conditioning Engineer

About the role

We are a family‑run business looking for a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team in Halstead. You will install, maintain and repair residential split and multi‑split air‑conditioning systems, with occasional exposure to larger commercial projects through our sister company.

Key responsibilities

• Install single‑split and multi‑split air‑conditioning units in residential properties.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure efficient operation.
• Diagnose faults using schematics, technical manuals and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used and system upgrades.
• Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Assist with commercial HVAC projects as required.

Required profile

• Proven experience installing and servicing air‑conditioning systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to HVAC work.
• Valid driving licence (F‑Ga).
