Air Conditioning Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a busy, professional team delivering installation, service, maintenance and repair for commercial and domestic cooling systems across Sussex. The role involves working on a variety of split, multi‑split, VRV and VRF equipment while providing high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair air‑conditioning systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out fault‑finding across a range of equipment.
• Work on split, multi‑split, VRV and VRF systems.
• Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and manufacturer standards.
• Conduct site‑specific risk assessments and follow Health & Safety procedures.
• Complete service reports and related documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.
• Identify improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.

Required profile

• CITB Air Conditioning Qualification (or equivalent).
• REFCOM F‑Gas Certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Proven experience in air‑conditioning installation, service and maintenance.
• Experience with split, multi‑split, VRV/VRF systems and a range of manufacturers’ equipment.
• Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Organisational and time‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently.

What we offer

• Salary up to £42,000 (dependent on experience)
• 40‑hour week, Monday to Friday
• Field‑based work across Sussex (Crawley, Horsham, Worthing, Brighton & Eastbourne)
