Air Conditioning Engineer

About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to deliver high‑quality maintenance and repair services for heating, ventilation, air‑conditioning, refrigeration and chiller systems across multiple client sites.

Key responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair heating systems (gas, oil, renewable) and air‑conditioning/ventilation equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform efficient first‑time fixes.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on mechanical and electrical plant.
• Ensure equipment performance and compliance with safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HVAC, facilities maintenance or building services.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding abilities.
• Excellent understanding of HVAC systems, plant and controls.
• Ability to work independently and make sound on‑site decisions.
• Professional communication and customer‑facing manner.

Required skills

• F‑Gas Category 1 (HVAC) certification (mandatory).
• Commercial Gas (ACS) qualification (desirable).
