Air Conditioning / Refrigeration Service Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Service Engineer to join our client’s team in Chatham. The role is Monday‑to‑Friday, 8 am‑4 pm, with no on‑call duties, focusing on servicing residential and heritage properties across London and the South East.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on residential air‑conditioning systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on split, multi‑split and water‑cooled units, including the client’s patented Incognito and Discreet systems.
• Complete service reports and F‑Gas compliance documentation.
• Work independently, managing your own diary and travelling to customer homes as required.

Required profile

• Minimum three years’ experience with residential air‑conditioning systems.
• Proven ability to service split and multi‑split units.
• Strong fault‑finding skills and solid understanding of refrigeration cycles.
• F‑Gas Category 1 certification and a full UK driving licence.
• Physically fit and able to work in occupied homes.
