Air Import Clerk – 4 on 4 off shift

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Air Import Clerk to join our team in Hayes on a 4‑on‑4‑off day shift. The role is fully office‑based and involves managing air and road import shipments from start to finish.
Key responsibilities
- Handle air imports from initial pre‑alert through to final delivery.
- Monitor incoming shipments and book them into the system.
- Prepare pre‑lodgements and complete T1 customs declarations.
- Create ETSF records and manage key accounts.
- Produce quotations and arrange collections and deliveries.
- Liaise with airlines and coordinate with the customer service team.
Required profile
- Proven experience in both air and road import handling.
- Ability to work the 4‑on‑4‑off shift pattern.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work autonomously in an office environment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of customs entry procedures (T1, ETSF).
What we offer
- Competitive salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per year.
