About the role

We are looking for an Air Import Clerk to join our busy team in Staines‑upon‑Thames. The role supports the end‑to‑end handling of air and road import shipments, ensuring they move smoothly from arrival to delivery.

Key responsibilities

Manage air import shipments from arrival through customs clearance to final delivery.
Prepare and verify import documentation such as Air Waybills, invoices and customs entries.
Coordinate customs clearance in line with current regulations and CAA requirements.
Liaise with customers, airlines, warehouse staff and other stakeholders to keep shipments on schedule.
Track shipments, identify and resolve delays or discrepancies.
Maintain compliance with customs and aviation regulations.

Required profile

Previous experience in air import or freight forwarding.
Basic understanding of customs procedures and import documentation.
Strong organisational and communication abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
