Air Import Supervisor

About the role
We are partnering with a smaller forwarder to hire an Air Import Supervisor who will manage the end‑to‑end air import process. The role is based in Colnbrook and operates Monday to Friday, 9:00‑17:30.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate air movements from origin to destination, ensuring timely and accurate handling.
- Maintain customs and CDS compliance for all import shipments.
- Manage relationships with clients, carriers and internal teams.
- Oversee and motivate staff in a busy environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- Prioritise multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail.
Required profile
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, specifically air imports.
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures and CDS systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client and carrier relationships.
- Excellent work ethic and a proactive, ‘can‑do’ attitude.
