Air Tightness Technician – London

About the role

Our client, a leading UK provider of testing, consulting and assessment services for the construction sector, is seeking an Air Tightness Technician to support projects across the country. The role involves conducting air‑tightness tests, analysing results and delivering actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Transport test equipment between the laboratory and on‑site locations.
• Plan and design test methodologies in line with industry standards.
• Set up and operate air‑tightness testing equipment on various construction sites.
• Collect, collate and analyse data during testing.
• Prepare detailed test reports and provide remedial guidance when tests fail.

Required profile

• Previous commercial experience in air‑tightness testing.
• Familiarity with test regulations and guidelines such as TSL1 and TSL2.
• Commercial awareness of Building Regulations and the construction industry.
• Strong numeracy and communication skills.
• Proficiency with IT software packages.
• Valid driving licence.
