About the role
Freightserve is seeking an experienced Airline Cargo Operations and Commercial Agent to support an airline based in the Heathrow area. You will manage cargo processes from booking through post‑flight handling, ensuring efficient space utilisation and accurate invoicing.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end cargo operations, including bookings and space allocation.
- Prepare spot rates, quotations and costings for freight customers.
- Control cargo space and monitor post‑flight cargo movements.
- Handle invoicing and cost reconciliation for cargo services.
- Liaise daily with freight forwarders and handling agents.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting of cargo activities.
Required profile
- Strong understanding of airline cargo processes and documentation.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday within standard office hours.
- Experience working with freight forwarders and handling agents.
Required skills
- Knowledge of cargo booking systems and rate calculation.
- Proficiency in cost and invoicing procedures.
