Airport Operations Supervisor – Liverpool Airport

About the role

We are looking for a Supervisor to lead the PRM (Passengers with Reduced Mobility) ramp team at Liverpool Airport. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety, compliance and high‑quality customer service while supporting the Operations Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily ramp activities to meet safety and customer service standards.
• Plan and allocate resources effectively across shifts.
• Manage operational staff on shift, ensuring adherence to contract SLA’s.
• Complete and submit delay reports to airlines with full details.
• Assist with training, development and disciplinary actions as directed.
• Liaise with airline on‑duty staff, regulatory bodies and controllers.
• Ensure correct use of systems and data recording in line with CAA requirements.
• Conduct equipment checks, visual inspections, quality assurance and compliance monitoring.
• Investigate incidents, report findings and escalate to Operations Managers.
• Monitor staff sickness, absence and performance, taking appropriate action.
• Maintain uniform and PPE compliance, and support revenue‑generation opportunities.
• Coach staff, resolve passenger complaints and cover holiday shifts as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising airport or ramp operations.
• Strong knowledge of CAA regulations and airport safety procedures.
• Ability to manage staff, handle disciplinary matters and deliver training.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with airlines, controllers and regulatory bodies.
• Attention to detail for accurate reporting and system usage.
