Airport Passenger Transport Driver

About the role

Join the PRM Airside Driver Team at Glasgow Airport, operating specialist vehicles to transport passengers with reduced mobility between aircraft and terminal facilities. Full training is provided for minibuses and Class 2 rigid vehicles, ensuring safe and courteous service.

Key responsibilities

• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects according to the inspection procedure.
• Drive company vehicles safely, maintaining security and cleanliness at all times.
• Assist passengers with reduced mobility onto aircraft, into seats, wheelchairs, or ABM vehicles using safe manual‑handling techniques.
• Perform Customer Care Agent duties when required, including escorting passengers through security and to baggage reclaim.
• Update the Allocator on job progress using PDA and radio communications.
• Observe all Manchester Airport airside driving requirements and promote a safe environment.
• Carry out any reasonable task requested by supervisors.

Required profile

• Professional image and reliable attendance.
• Ability to remain calm and reasonable under pressure.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Previous airline or airport experience is desirable but not essential.
• Valid right‑to‑work documentation.
