About the role

As an Alloy Wheel Technician at SKILLFRAME you will combine artistic flair with mechanical expertise to restore damaged alloy wheels to pristine condition. Working in a modern workshop in Esher, you will use advanced equipment to ensure every wheel meets the highest aesthetic and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect wheels and determine the optimal repair method for scuffs, scratches, and corrosion.
• Perform professional painting, powder coating, diamond cutting, and polishing to restore finishes.
• Remove and refit tyres, using modern tyre‑changing and balancing machinery without damaging refurbished rims.
• Conduct quality checks to guarantee safety and visual standards before wheels leave the workshop.
• Maintain and organise advanced tools and equipment, keeping the workspace clean and efficient.
• Communicate accurate timelines to the team to ensure timely delivery to customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in alloy wheel repair and refurbishment.
• Strong technical knowledge of diamond‑cutting lathes, spray booths and powder‑coating processes.
• Competent in tyre fitting and balancing on high‑end painted or diamond‑cut wheels.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to flawless finishes.
• Team‑oriented attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
