Analyst/Associate – Commercial Real Estate CRE Debt

About the role

PIMCO is seeking a motivated Analyst or Associate to join its European Real Estate Debt team in London. The role supports the sourcing, underwriting, execution, and management of real‑estate debt investments across senior, mezzanine, whole‑loan and development structures throughout Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate potential real‑estate debt transactions across all major European sectors.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess credit risk and return profiles.
• Prepare investment memoranda, presentations and due‑diligence materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in deal execution, including documentation, covenant monitoring and portfolio management.
• Monitor existing investments, track performance metrics and support ongoing asset management.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with a keen interest in real‑estate debt markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
