About the role
Our client, a global consulting firm working on a card payments project, is seeking an Android Developer on a contract basis. The role runs until the end of 2026 and offers up to £520 per day.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Integrate REST APIs and work with API documentation.
- Implement UI using Jetpack libraries and MVI architecture.
- Write unit and UI tests with Espresso, JUnit and WireMock.
- Maintain build pipelines with Gradle and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and CircleCI.
Required profile
- Strong Kotlin experience with Java familiarity for legacy support.
- Hands‑on experience with Jetpack libraries and MVI architecture.
- Proven ability to work with REST APIs and asynchronous programming (Coroutines, Flows, RxJava).

What we offer
- Contract until end of 2026.
- Daily rate up to £520 (inside IR35 via Umbrella).
- Hybrid working with three days per week onsite in London.
