Android Developer – UK/Remote – £375/day (Outside IR35)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role is UK‑based with the flexibility to work remotely and is offered outside IR35 at a day rate of £375.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain native Android applications.
• Implement accessibility features and ensure a high‑quality user experience.
• Optimize app performance and memory usage.
• Collaborate with product, design and QA teams to deliver features on schedule.
• Adhere to coding standards and contribute to code reviews.

Required profile

• Strong commercial experience in Android development.
• Understanding of accessibility, UX principles and mobile performance optimisation.
• Background in government or other regulated environments is a plus.
