About the role
Framestore is seeking an Animator for its London studio on a project‑based contract from June to December 2024. You will work closely with Animation Leads and Supervisors to deliver high‑quality keyframe animation that supports story‑driven, action‑packed sequences across advertising, episodic TV and immersive experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Animate both primary and secondary characters and elements.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Production and Lead regarding schedules and deadlines.
- Work efficiently as part of a team or independently to complete assigned shots.
- Submit shots for review and incorporate feedback as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a similar animation role.
- Thorough knowledge of Maya.
- Understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, texture and form.
- Familiarity with typical rigging set‑ups and animation pipelines.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
- Reliability, good time‑keeping and openness to direction and change.
