Annual Review Caseworker – SEND Specialist

About the role

Spencer Clarke Group is seeking an experienced Annual Review Caseworker to support a Greater London local authority. The role involves managing a complex caseload of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and delivering annual reviews in line with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a complex caseload of EHCP annual reviews, ensuring all statutory timescales are met.
• Attend and actively contribute to annual review meetings, driving positive outcomes for children and young people.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date case records in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external professionals to coordinate support provision.

Required profile

• Previous experience working within a Local Authority SEND department.
• Strong knowledge of current SEND legislation, including the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice 2015.
• Proven ability to manage a caseload and meet statutory or service deadlines.
